Avril Lavigne, fraichement mariée à un Sum41, se détache de son image d'ado dépressive pour gagner celle de femme tigresse. la musique y gagne en qualité, LE LOOK DE LA JEUNE FEMME AUSSI, mais le texte pâtit d'une "mini-pouffe attitude" pathétique...

Voir le clip de "girlfriend" (issu de l'album the best damn thing), plutot réussit en se moquant des gros clichés des lycées américains, et qui n'est pas sans rappeller feu le génial dessin animé "Daria":

Nelly Furtado a opéré un virage musical à 300 degrès en quittant le monde pop/rock pour l'univers du r'n'b. ses tempos bien balancés font le succès des dance-floors, ses clips hot et "justinisés" font l'unanimité. Mais on ne peut jamais trahir longtemps ses racines musicales: son nouveau titre, "All good things" est une ballade romantique et le clip un bain de douceur et de nostalgie...
